Gorillaz，是一个乐队组合，乐队成员：由主唱ChakaKhan、吉他手Noodle、 团长/贝斯手Murdoc、鼓手Russel组成，乐队的音乐风格中加入了新的方式，造型也特特具有性格，甚至连故事也是那么的天马行空，难以想象，十分 虚拟，但又让创作者赋予了极其有血有肉的性格特征。
这支乐队是在偶像团体泛滥，有许多所谓实力派的英国乐手也看不惯偶像团体"降低"英国乐界水准的背景下，由Blur主唱Damon Albarn为主并隐身幕后代言，与知名卡通人物Tank Girl的作者漫画创办人Jamie Hewlett一起创作的四个具强烈城市HIP-HOP色彩的小鬼组成的。
主要为音乐的曲风为Hip-Hop,AlternativePop/Rock,Alternative Rap，当中某些曲子还揉合了牙买加的 reggae、古巴传统情歌以至英伦punk rock
